Delivery Policy

At Szicsek Palinka we are committed to offering the best service to our customers. We strive to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary based on location and shipping method selected at checkout. Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions regarding our delivery & pricing policy.

Are you in the United Kingdom?

Yes, we are a UK-based business, and all your orders will shipped from our warehouse in the UK.

How much does delivery cost?

Prices vary based on location and shipping method selected at checkout. Delivery is charged per complete order regardless of how many items are ordered. See your options below:

Royal Mail (3-5 working days)
The cost of Royal Mail delivery is £5.99. For example: 2 bottles of Palinka ordered to the same address is £5.99.

Fast Delivery (1-2 working days)
The cost of Fast delivery is £8.

Next Day Delivery
Please note this shipping method is only available for orders placed before 10 AM. Next Day Delivery costs £16.50. This price is available for packages up to 2 kg in total weight, may have higher costs due to their size, weight or unique shipping requirements. We will contact you to advise if there is an additional charge. 

*Postcodes in the Highland category are IV,KW 1-14,PA 37-39, PH 19-26, PH 30-40, ZE,BT,M and the Channel Islands. Deliveries to these destinations may incur a surcharge. We will contact you to advise if there is an additional charge. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery to these destinations.

Do you have a free delivery threshold?

Yes! We provide free UK delivery for all orders over £60.

Can I pick up my order instead of asking for delivery?

Yes, you can collect your order free of charge at Mandhari, The Street, Flordon, Norwich NR15 1RN.

Do you offer international delivery?

When will my order be processed and dispatched?

We process all orders as quickly as possible, typically within 1 working day. Once processed, your order will be shipped promptly, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail with tracking details.

How is my order packed?

Your order is carefully packed using recyclable, special air-filled bubble wrap and a sturdy hard carton box to ensure that fragile items arrive safely. We take great care in packaging to protect your items during transit.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Please check the package for any damage before signing, because signing means you received the goods in perfect condition. If the item is damaged refuse to accept the package. We cannot be held responsible for any damage discovered after the item has been signed for.

In case your products arrive damaged, please contact us by email at info@szicsekpalinka.co.uk with an image of the damaged product and your order number. 

All goods must be returned before a replacement or refund can be given. In the unlikely event that goods are lost in transit , they cannot be classified as missing until after 7 days.

What happens if my order is delayed?

We always strive to meet our stated delivery times, but occasional delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather conditions or issues with our delivery partners.

During busy periods, especially around Christmas, deliveries may take longer than usual. If any issues arise, we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Are there any restrictions on buying alcohol?

By law we cannot sell alcohol to persons under 18. By making an order for alcoholic products on this site, you are promising to us that you are 18 years or older.

We use signed-for delivery services, so it is your responsibility to ensure you are available to receive your order on the scheduled delivery date. We highly recommend tracking your order regularly to stay updated on its arrival.

Deliveries will only be sent to the credit/debit cards registered address unless checkout services via PayPal are used and the address you would like to use delivery is verified with them, checking ID at handout.

 

Payment and price

Payment is in advance by the means stated on our website. We will only process payments if we obtain authorisation from our payment partner. If we do not receive full payment in cleared funds within 7 days of your order, then we are entitled to cancel this contract.

The price for the goods you order is as stated on our site at the time you send us your order. VAT or sales tax is included unless we say otherwise.
