Judges said:

-“Very hot spirit. Some cherry notes on this finish but they are fighting with the alcohol heat.Requires much greater refinement to be enjoyable.”

-“The nose has some promise . The sour cherry does not come across well. But with water,it certainly improves and the herbaceous notes come through and it develops a lot of character.A good example of this style of drink.”

-“Rich,with juiciness on the nose. Judges were pleasantly surprised by the palate, which displayed good cherry stone notes and some great acidity that lasts alongside the fruit stone element. Sour cherry is clean and clear, but also gives enough complexity to stand up on its own. Some of the judges felt this palinka made them want to find out more about this category!”

-“Juicy cherries come through on the nose,on the palate the cherry takes a while to open up and is less intense, sweetness grows slowly, velvety mouthfeel adds character. The finish delivers raisin fruitiness and dryness, however with some intrusive notes.”

We recommended our Premium Gypsy Sour Cherry Palinka after meals or dessert, or mixed with Cherry Funkin Juice and Lemonade this is the lovely summer cocktail.
